Here's a thing, never try and change the way you have developed yourself. It is the habit of the society to miss utilize your naivety and take advantage of your weakness towards the so-called "have-nots" in the society.

Shocking statement to begin the article with isn't it?

Believe it or not, it is the truth. Many people roaming around in the streets, asking for money because they have some children to feed and/or haven't had food for a week, is sometimes a false way to trick our minds. There has been scenarios when these pawns have not even been helped with the money that they collected from people, because that money lands in the hands of those who use these forcefully disabled and homeless individuals to work for them, and gather money, which these urban goons would use to gamble or add to their own dirty interests. If you really want to help someone, help them personally, add your valuable contributions at a one-to-one personal level. It is important for us to understand many rackets or chains of illegal activities goes on through begging in the streets. These small time goons can even turn out to be pretty dangerous, that they can even take lives after looting the victim.

There have been scenarios where these beggars have sold many illegal objects of trade as well as drugs in order to earn a living. It is a problem not only intrinsic in our country, but is a matter of concern worldwide. People of the lowest rung, who are mostly unemployed and homeless are targeted for doing these illegal activities, in exchange for having enough food for a day. The level of economic inequality has never seen a drastic improvement for the last few years in India, thereby giving us statistics which adds to our concern. The recent rate of unemployment has been 23.75% (2020), which has grown more due to the present condition of the COVID-19 situation. Unless the level of Social Embeddedness increases in the society, which literally implies the stronger bonds between the state and the society, having a drastic change in the social health of India is impossible. Economy determines a lot of things in the society and the country as a whole. We are always in the race to imitate the West, because even for most of the developing countries, being at par with the Globalized North can make the Globalizing South an ardent competitor. Without the solving of internal damages, even a machine cannot operate properly, so how can you expect a nation to rise with its constant internal crumpling down?!

Now coming to the end statement, should we actually be vulnerable. In the aspect of our personality, YES, of course because believe me or not, it helps you become more stronger. But if you have to thrive in a corrupt society, it is better to reserve your motives, plans and intentions; because you could never know when someone capitalizes on your vulnerability.
