A walk which was bucketed for a while......

Hello there world, nice to see you without either of our shackles!

This was a really exciting journey. All I wanted from my childhood was to walk along the footbridge of BijanSetu and watch the sun setting behind a massive billboard. It was really exciting to think that all by myself I could travel and stop right on my tracks, without hindering anyone's path, and just click a wonderful memory. That might have been of a train passing by, or even just a clouded sky.

But I hardly got any chance because of the shackles called routine had bound me within its rusting chains. So when I used to pass by that empty space, it taunted me to always come forward and click her portrait even if it knew that I couldn't. The hide and seek, however, ended. Yesterday. I took a break from my routine and finally smelled the air of freedom. It wasn't that different or difficult or scary, but it was rather exciting and adventurous, something which you could never forget ever again. The fact that still all those people chasing after time on their vehicles or public transports were gaping at me, lured by that sheer freedom to explore that excitement or question the naivity of my fantasy was a fact that gave me a big realization. The realization that alienation is real and grappling to a massive extent. The highest in the 21st century.

And another very important fact. Remember this people.

The act of rebelling against a particular routine might, to some extent, give you a sense of satisfaction and make you the center of attraction. You might be a winner or a loser, yet it is always a pleasure to seek the things which you want in life. If there are no path breakers, no one would understand there are still roads not taken.

I am sincerely elated to announce this. I was finally able to capture her in my personal memory journal. Her pictures are beautiful. She is breathtaking.

Look at her.

Congratulations for stepping off the beaten path!! The weighted confines of routine can be so overwhelming. It's so easy to stay lost in the machine of monotony that it's almost mind-numbing. Life throws us curveballs, often times unpleasant ones, and we are forced to "make time" for them. Why can't we throw our own curveballs?? While we're at it... make them fun! Make them soul-inspiring! Make them fruitful! Make them warm and comforting and wildly unforgettable! Sometimes we have to take routine by the hand and say, "No! Today, in this moment, we do it MY way!" Thank you for sharing your thoughts and the beautiful pictures!
